Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's and Grandad's out there!  We had a really fun weekend.  Friday evening, Jesse, Michael, and I went to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner.  The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and it's super family friendly.  The people there are super nice, and Michael got lots of attention.  Then we made a stop for a snow cone.  Snow cones are definitely my new favorite summer treat.  OMG...so yummy!!!  I like to try all the different, fancy flavors like Tiger's Blood or Wedding Cake.  Jesse sticks to the tried and true favorites like Grape.

Saturday was our big Father's Day celebration.  We went to Jesse's parents house Saturday morning for breakfast.  Michael's Uncle Tony was in town, and they adore each other.  We had a great visit and some yummy homemade blueberry pancakes.  When we left, Michael was wiped out!  Later that afternoon, my folks came over for some burgers.  Before we cooked, my dad and Jesse hung up a couple of shades on our patio.  It was easy, but took way longer than expected.  Oh well, they are up now and providing some much needed shade.

 yay!  they are up!

While Jesse and my dad were working, Michael was playing.  He loves splashing in his little pool and playing with the hose.  Tucker wanted in on the fun too!

P.S. This is one of my favorite pics of Jesse and Michael.  He's such a proud Daddy!!!
